Just got Bitwig for$199, Ableton is dead!!!
great synth, otherworldly performance. truly amazing
Did he mean non oscillating rather than non-resonante
sequential take 5…?
The video that got me started on Akai based Jungle Production.
👍🌟👍
Hoover pump 🤣
Whatever happened to this? Great concept
👍🌟👍
rich rich rich
This is *more warm* than those analogue synths, I can tell tell already, I spend all my day in front of those *analogue* systems and when I go home I just want to relax with this acoustic synth.
the algorithms may have convolutions but shouldn't be convoluted.
Another excellent, informative interview by "Precious Paul" White.
what about lewitt lct1040
You have made a wonderful & ultimate modern studio in the world Mr. A.R. RAHMAN . Proud to be an INDIAN Musician.👆👍🤝👏👏
Why do you keep the piano covered?
What is the difference between the PR35 and the pr37? There's no info about this in the Web or UA-cam weirdly enough
The piano was perfected in the 1700’s🤷🏻♂
I cant quite make out the name of the other deep listening artist. I got Pauline Oliveros, is the other Ellie? Whats the last name? Thank you! Great conversation!
So the slider can essentially be the volume in mix mode?
That was great. I always love stories of how these tracks were built, and every time I hear one there’s a slightly different angle and the overall picture gets a little clearer. I’m so grateful for Jeczalik’s candor. Years ago when Morley was the only face of AON I grieved that I would never be able to get a really clear picture. I loved the way he portrayed the band, don’t get me wrong. Delightfully cryptic, arty, heady. But when I inevitably got into making my own music I really wanted to hear this practical stuff. (Side note: I got hold of a fairlight CMI and was astonished at just how crappy the sound quality was, and it’s still a mystery how Langan managed to add so much sizzle!) but to hear these old war stories is just endlessly fascinating.
Thank you Trevor 👏
Incredibly sh*tty. Glad that era of "music" has passed.
👍🌟👍
the ones with budgets watching this video after 7 years
wish it was longer :/
How much is this?
Anyone else love the originals intro which sounds like a drumkit falling down stairs followed by that crunching riff?
Im wondering what Horn thought of Jim Steinmans productions as he seemed to like the BIG sound
Owner of a Lonely Heart is simply a genius recording. Those collage-like samples were absolutely unlike anything that came before it
14:25 this is the bit.
ive just watched this, i used own a poly 61 and it malfunctioned and i never got it back from the guy i gave it to, anyway i found jungle in 1995, started out using a roland s 330, and a korg x5d. also i had a korg 707 and it also malFUNKtioned
EXPENSIVE,, 😅
I replaced my Genelec with Neumann. 😊
You are going to love the MSW830, 3 of those oscillators with sync and extra modulators, same filter but with extra modes, lots more extra fun!
I own an EKG C414 LTD and it's my best microphone so far yet...
Thank you for having Dan on! This was such a great talk 😄
They all sound the same to me
What became of AudioTelligence since this podcast? Seems to have disappeared, and fairly recently.
Shame they don't go down lower. 40hz is pretty high for me
I found a eq settings very similar to flat. Here it is: 31hz +6db 63hz -6db 125hz +3db 250hz -3db 500hz 0db 1khz 0db 2khz -3db 4khz +3db 8khz -6db 16khz +6db Thanks! I like your video.
What bus should I get on?
my birthday is coming, gift me this midi keyboard
Matt is the players player
2:51 This took me back to the synth sound used in "The Kentucky Fried Movie"... the main feature...." A Fistful of Yen " !!!!
Correct. Lyrics-first approach produces significantly better results. For me, anyway.
Cool, really enjoyed this. Great interviewer. Matt is top man.
The thing about the 80s where he got his start. All the good stuff had like 5 riffs whereas today one riff is the majority or the song. 🎶
"Just work hard and have a famous dad" Cool got it. Gonna go work on making my dad famous I guess.
